Real Ale Chutney

One from the archives, this traditional chunky recipe uses real ale, Bramley apples, cider vinegar, onions and a blend of spices that turns them into the star of any ploughman’s lunch. Stored in a clip-lid jar, which is eminently practical as a re-useable airtight storage jar.

Onions, Apples, Rhubarb, Red Pepper, Dates, Sugar, Malt Vinegar (From Barley), Ale (2%), Salt, Mustard Seed, Ground Ginger, Cinnamon, Paprika, Water

May contain eggs, nuts,  sulphur dioxide and milk.
