White Chateau De Chamord's immensity, facade, and estate are enough to impress its most striking architectural feature, which could very well be its central spiral double helix staircase. Located in the Loire Valey and built in the 16th century, the celebrated staircase consists of a hollowed central core and two spirals ascending three floors, twisting and turning different sets of staircases at the same time, they can see each other going up or down - without ever meeting...it's magnificent!
